Procter & Gamble; Unbecoming

For P&G’s haircare line, My Black is Beautiful, we created a brand campaign that gives Black women the space to shed expectations around our hair and womanhood. Unbecoming gives us a platform to and release ourselves from expectations around how we show up, champion our undone hair on screen, and define beauty for ourselves.

As as Black woman I’ve spent a fair share of my life confronting my own “unbecomingness.” This project was created from those experiences. Having the opportunity to bring this to life was unbelievably magical.
